Independent Testing, Safety Standards and Eco-labels Our products are tested by independent laboratories such as ISEGA to prove their ecological performance. Many of our products are also compliant with internationally recognized regulations and recommendations (for example, the US Environmental Protection Agency), and with the requirements of several eco-labels such as Blue Angel, Nordic Swan or EU Ecolabel (‘EU Flower’). Products in line with Food Contact Regulations Clariant has a range of products which are certified for use in food contact and hygiene applications under the various BfR and FDA regulations. REACH compliance Due to our global legislative expertise we are able to provide our customers with a value-added service by ensuring full adherence to new European REACH legislation. Our Product Safety Department coordinates product safety activities within each division and across regions.
